Upgrade Spain was created with the idyllic idea of being able to do what we love and call it our job. And that’s how it is in fact, we really love what we do!
Our office is based in small town by the beach called Castelldefels, just a short drive from Barcelona and the airport. The location makes it easy for us to arrive fast to any place in no time!
Here we would just like to let you know a little bit about who we are and what we do, and hopefully you will give us a chance to collaborate!

We have extensive experience from the tourism sector, great language skills, positive minds and we always have a smile to spare, we are ready to face new challenges and conquest you – our client! Our main goal is that you will call us: “My DMC in Spain”.

The mission and vision of our company has been growing and shaping in our heads for a long time. Each step has been focused to provide the best service to our clients and their groups, but yet maintaining our personal style, local knowledge, top quality and fast response.

Our partners are chosen carefully, always keeping in mind, what is most important for the Scandinavian client. What we really want is, that the groups and our customers feel as comfortable and relaxed as possible, when we are helping to organize their trip.

Ania Berge
She has a bachelor’s degree in Tourism from the University of Malaga, and ever since she graduated, she has dedicated her professional life to Destination Management. She has been living in the outskirts of Barcelona for the last seven years, near the beach, where she can practice her great passion, kite-surf. Her competitive spirit means she’s fast and a unique problem solver when the heat is on. Always updated on the latest trends and a passionate traveler to wherever there is a beach to kite. She speaks Polish, Norwegian, English and Spanish and has an extensive network of local providers, which makes itinerary planning, a piece of cake.
Born in Poland, raised on the beach, married a Norwegian and currently living in Spain – I must say I had quite exciting first 30 years of my life. When I was 13 y.o. my dad taught me how to kitesurf, which has changed my life forever. I was competing in World cups in over 8 years, travelled the world, got to know amazing people from all over the world and learned that traveling is one of the best things in life. That was then, I decided that helping others to experience same feelings will be my future path. So I moved to Malaga, studied tourism, learned a couple of languages (Norwegian and Spanish) and today, after settling down in Barcelona with my small family, I proudly stand on my own feet with UPGRADE Spain.
Elin Sandvold
She has a bachelor’s degree in International Marketing and Export from ESADE Business School in Barcelona, where she has lived for the past 20 years. She has worked as ground personnel in the airline industry, but found passion in Destination Management, 5 years ago. She loves to travel to new places and just take a walk to stumble over those secret spots that are not on the typical Lonely Planet list. She has a soft spot for Northern Spain and travel to the region every chance she gets. She speaks Norwegian, English, Spanish and Catalan fluently and even if the roots are Norwegian, her heart belongs to Spain.
If somebody had told me 25 years ago, that I would end up living in Spain, I probably would have found it hilarious, but far from reality. Then the classical love story came in my way and one big family later, Spain is where I call home. I like the Spanish way of living, dining out at late hours, stopping for a quick coffee before rushing off to work. I enjoy the balance of a busy workday and quiet family life, and I’m known for being calm even in the most stressful situation. I have a thing for lighthouses, the way they guide people at sea safely home, is a philosophy I like to extend to my profession as well. I like to reveal Spain from a different perspective and let people have a good time, but in the end make sure they all arrive safe home.
